Eco Club of the college attended the workshop on the theme of EcoSkills, Hastkaagaz, Green Action, and EcoPreneurs held on 6th April, 2024 at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar. These workshops provided hands-on training in paper recycling, overcompensating, and entrepreneurship in agricultural waste and herbal products respectively.

Supported by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar – State Nodel Agency of Punjab State Council of Science and Technology organized ‘ECO VIBES@HMV’ under Environmental Educational Program - Inter College Competitions on 5th April, 2024. Our college Students enthusiastically participated in a myriad of competitions ranging from Poster making, Slogan writing, Rangoli, Quiz, Face Painting, Dress from Waste, Nukkad Natak and Exhibition on Mission Life. Different schools and colleges participated in this program. In this competition Guru Nanak College of Education for Women, Kapurthala clinched the overall champions trophy and secured the 1st Position in Nukkad Natak, 3rd Position in Quiz and 3rd Position in Exhibition under "Bioenergy" category. Principal Mrs. Manjit Kaur congratulated all the participants and teachers for their dedicated efforts and hard work.
